Dutch Greenhouse Delta (DGD) was created in 2017 when Bom Group, Priva, KUBO and Certhon joined forces. It started on the initiative of Sjaak van der Tak, then still mayor of Westland. His idea was to market the greenhouse sector as a brand. Today, DGD has twenty proud and very progressive partners who together have one goal; feed the megacities of the future.
Because projects are getting bigger and more complex nowadays and it is no longer just building a protected cultivation environment, it is important to have a good network. Clients in such projects are often governments or governmental organizations. These parties require a different approach. The Dutch Greenhouse Delta, together with the Greentech and the World Horti Center, has a golden triangle in its organization. The ultimate goal is to turn this golden triangle into a golden circle!
