The positive effect of cooling on production has been more than demonstrated in recent years, both quantitatively and qualitatively. The opportunities for using cooling in the greenhouse have also increased significantly in recent years, including soil, air or water cooling. During this time Bom Group has successfully realised various projects. Projects involving soil cooling have been completed, including in the cultivation of amaryllis, fresias and alstroemerias. Projects with greenhouse cooling were realised, including in the cultivation of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and phalaenopsis.

Air in Control is an in-house developed system, distinguished by its high level of efficiency, low noise level and maximum user convenience. Air hoses are used to distribute the conditioned air evenly throughout the greenhouse, for the correct horizontal and vertical temperature distribution.
The system can be installed with separate air-conditioning units or as a fully accessible environment corridor in the front gable. In mild climates separate air-conditioning units are common, while in warm climates a climate corridor is often selected, in combination with path cooling.
